The company

HAVARD was created in Nantes in 1937, and immediately specialised in the production of copper alloy parts, meeting the needs for naval construction (propellers, transmission shaft bearing bushes) and the agri-food sector (machine-tools for the canning industry).

The company moved to Carquefou in 1963, and progressively started to manufacture finished goods, and expand its activity to aluminium processing in the year 2000 whilst remaining at a SME scale and maintaining its specific expertise.

Today, HAVARD provides extensive know-how to industrial companies seeking an experienced and reactive subcontractor.

EXPERTISE, FLEXIBILITY AND QUICK RESPONSE

HAVARD is one of the rare companies providing a strong combination of specific expertise that can meet the demand for copper alloy or aluminium parts.

The SME type streamlined organisation of HAVARD allows to provide a personalised and efficient approach, for the production of individual parts and small production volumes (1000 parts per year).

HAVARD uses its manufacturing facilities to produce parts ranging from a few grams to 700 kg, for dimensions up to 3 m x 3 m.
